Catalogs that run into the hundreds of strains usually group the most potent lines in a dedicated section rather than mixing them with everything else. An online seed shop with high thc strains will often set that threshold at around twenty percent, so anything listed there sits in the upper range of what modern breeding produces. The category typically includes classic cup winners alongside newer dessert and gas crosses. Browsing it gives a quick overview of where potency currently tops out.
